It's "A Leap Of Faith"! Kyle XY Mass Mailing to SyFy Network

In the wake of these Julie Plec tweets we are organizing another Mass Mailing. But since ABC Family seems to be missing the point, this time we are going to MOVE THE TUB! This time we are targeting the SciFi (SyFy) network to tell them that we want them to pick up Kyle XY. Here's is what you do:

Send letters, postcards, Sour Patch Kids, paper mache tubs, whatever you want. Get it together to be mailed to arrive the week of August 28th. The name and address to use is as follows:

Thomas Vitale, Senior Vice President
Programming & Original Movies
SyFy Channel
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY 10112

This is probably going to be one of the most important mass mailings we do to get our show back. Happy mailing!!!

I'm going to mail mine out early or else leave them for a family member to do so. I'm excited about this mailing campaign because we are mailing to someone other then the PTSNBN. Hopefully, this campaign will be big and make someone perk up their ears.

Nope, I refuse to use that illiterate misspelling.  I want them to admit failure and return to the proper spelling.

(That's not going to happen since they apparently own most of the SciFi stations around the globe and are renaming all of them to S-y-F-y except Poland.  Apparently, it translates badly in Polish, lol.

Yes, in the UK it hasn't changed, it's Sci-Fi.  Although it's more commonly the full words, Science Fiction.

If your SciFi station in France or the UK is owned by NBC Universal, the name change is going to happen.  Poland is only holdup - the new name means "zit face."

Interesting - I didn't realize the name change was to allow them to copyright the name.  "SciFi" is so generic and there are so many competitors outside the US, they couldn't use it exclusively.

I put my letter to Syfy in the mail yesterday, saying how well Kyle XY would fit in.

I hope it helps; the studio sale of props and wardrobe makes it clear that ABC Family's done with the show, huh?

I also wrote to the Syfy PR person, asking if I could have one of the rough-cut pilot DVDs for Warehouse 13.
Worth a shot.  I enjoyed comparing the Kyle XY original and broadcast pilots.
